Our Partner, Mira Todorovic Symeonides was one of the speakers during the 6th Annual Conference UPES 2023, entitled: Reforms in the Energy Sector organized by the Serbian Energy Law Association (UPES) member of the European Federation of Energy Law Associations (EFELA). The conference was held on 8 December 2023 in Belgrade, on the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Belgrade, Resavska 13-15.
The presentation of Μira Todorovic Symeonides gave an overview of the development of priorities for connection to the electricity grid of renewable energy sources in the EU regulations up today, where the conditions of connection are becoming more complex. It was presented how Greece has regulated the laws in this area, as well as how it faces challenges in implementing these regulations. It was concluded that the grid connection regulations, whether on the electricity transmission or distribution system, should be regulated in such a way that they are clear and transparent, so that system users are able plan their future steps. The full presentation can be found below.
Is there a priority, from the regulative perspective, for connection to the grid among RES technologies and/or depending on the RES plants developers, particularly in case of limited the grid capacities?
