Energy Lawyer
Rokas Law Firm intends to recruit a Senior Associate to join our Energy Law team. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 10 years of experience handling regulatory issues in the energy sector.
- The candidate will have the following responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on the current energy regulatory regime
- Advise on licensing and transfer of licensing to RES projects.
- Draft and review contracts, construction, and financing agreements for energy projects
- Advise on energy competition matters
- Advise on project transfer, acquisitions, and restructuring of energy-related projects
- Litigation concerning conflicts on energy and non-compliance with licensing processes
Requirements / Candidate’s Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- A Master’s degree in Energy Law will be considered an asset
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a wide spectrum of the RES market issues, including contracts, licensing, and financing.
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Experienced user of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
