Senior Associate for the Energy Law team
Rokas Law Firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Associate for the Energy Law team. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 10 years of experience, handling regulatory issues in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on the current energy regulatory regime both for international and domestic clients.
- Advise on licensing and transfer of licensing to RES projects.
- Draft and review contracts, construction, and financing agreements for energy projects.
- Advise on energy competition matters.
- Advise on project transfer, acquisitions, and restructuring of energy-related projects.
- Advise on environmental matters related to RES projects.
Requirements / Candidate’s Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- A Postgraduate degree in Energy Law will be considered an asset.
- Long standing experience in a wide spectrum of the RES market issues including contracts, licensing, and financing.
- Excellent oral and written command of English .
- Experienced user of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
