Biography

Born in Athens, Greece; Member of the Thessaloniki Bar since 2017, earlier of the Athens Bar since 2015; Qualified DPO and GDPR Specialist; Authorized to appear before all Greek Courts of all instances. 

Andreas is a practicing Attorney-at-Law specializing in cassation proceedings before the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) and complex civil litigation. Having written extensively in this field and drawing on deep expertise in Supreme Court procedural law (in which he has been engaged since his traineeship), he provides integrated legal counsel and representation in high-level cassation matters.

He, also, specializes in handling energy law cases, including energy production, energy transmission grids, RES etc.

His indicative practice further includes contract negotiation and drafting, contractual disputes (interpretation, termination/disruption), legal due diligence, law of Security Papers and Negotiable Instruments, transport law, and litigation involving fire damage, motor vehicle and fatal traffic accidents, as well as commercial arbitration (both domestic and international). He advises major Greek and international insurance companies on liability, insurance coverage, data protection and regulatory compliance under the prudential requirements governing insurance and reinsurance undertakings, representing them before courts.

Andreas is one of the leading members of Rokas’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice and Co-Head of the firm’s Cassation Practice before the Supreme Court. He has lectured at the National School of Judges (ESDI) on cassation law and Supreme Court procedure, participated as a speaker at conferences and academic events, and served as a LEGAD (Legal Advisor) at NRDC-GR (NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece) during his military service within the III Army Corps.
