Dimitrios has been engaged in the establishment, acquisition and restructuring of many commercial companies in Greece. He is also specialized in dispute resolution in the fields of corporate, financial, insurance, intellectual property, administrative, national and international transport and general commercial law.
He has experience in conducting due diligence on enterprises for the purposes of sale and has experience in administrative law litigation before the Supreme Administrative Court of Greece as well as a litigation experience of more than 20 years before Greek Courts of all instances.
His recent indicative experience includes:
- Legal support for acquisition of majority stake in two companies. Legal due diligence of corporate and financial documents and title deeds of two affiliated companies as the owner of the territorial area of implementation of the project. Contracts for the Pledge of shares of the two companies
- Legal advice and assistance regarding corporate issues (minority block, inactive state, debt payment, liquidation) of the Client’s subsidiary in Thessaloniki, in which the Client hold 51% of the shares while two individuals hold other 49% of shares. The company has been inactive for a long period of time and has not been fulfilling its tax and possible other obligations to third parties.
- Legal consultant of Alpha Bank and Eurobank. Legal services provided include mortgage foreclosure deeds, assents as attorney on behalf of the Banks, deed of property and real property verifications
- Legal consultant to several insurance companies (which have permanent cooperation with Rokas on litigation and consulting issues) such as Generali, Interamerican Insurance Co, AXA, Aigaion Insurance Co, International Life Insurance Co
- Handling of corporate law cases before courts
- Scientific Associate in the monthly Law Review of Thessaloniki Bar Association “Armenopoulos” (January 2006 – June 2019)
- Former external scientific collaborator of the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki) for the Programme “Young Enterpreneurship”
- Former Scientific collaborator (external academic staff) (P.D. 407/80) i) at the University of Macedonia (Department of Administration) Thessaloniki, ii) at the Faculty of Law, University of Thrace (Department of Commercial and Labour law), iii) at the University of Macedonia (Department of Administration and Technology) and iv) at the University of West Macedonia (Department of Balkan Studies), teaching in Postgraduate Programme: “Governance of the international financial system”.
