Born in Athens, Greece; Member of the Athens Bar since 1995.
Alexis has developed substantial expertise over two decades as practicing lawyer in advisory and litigation work, including in the areas of corporate and commercial law, M&As, administrative law, finance law, employment law, civil and criminal law, competition law, intellectual property (trademarks and patents) law, compliance issues, contracts (commercial, procurement, manufacturing, toll filling, warehousing and transport services agreements, MoUs, RfPs), regulatory affairs (monitoring market-police and competition legislation, consulting), real estate (specialised in commercial lease negotiations, agreements and litigation).
Among other things, his extensive experience has been also gained from working as an in-house lawyer at “Coca-Cola HBC Greece S.A.I.C.” and at “Carrefour-Marinopoulos S.A.”, following a decade during which he held posts as an Associate at law firms, during which he has been consulting numerous companies on the above-mentioned issues.
His experience also includes a Stage at the European Commission in Brussels (DG XI – Environment and Nuclear Safety, Unit A-4 – International Affairs, Commerce and Environment), where his work involved monitoring, analysis and preparation of GATT panels, and negotiations within the U.N. and the OECD framework on ECO trademark and environment safety.
