Born in Athens, Greece; member of the Athens Bar since 2005; authorized to appear before all Greek Courts of Appeal.
Maria has extensive consulting and litigation experience in the fields of civil, commercial, labor, banking, and enforcement law at all stages, providing legal support to individual clients and legal entities.
Her work includes the review of contracts, legal support in the preparation and implementation of financial projects, the processing of the necessary regulatory filings before any competent authorities, and the handling of corporate-related services. Experience in the above areas of law includes participating – organizing and supervising working groups to support complex due diligence for the submission of investors’ offers on the for sale portfolios of non-performing loans with real estate collateral during the NPL restructuring phase implemented by the Greek systemic banks, etc.
