Founder of Rokas Law Firm, Ioannis Rokas leads the Firm’s Insurance law team. Enjoying an outstanding principal specialisation in insurance law, he advises insurance companies on the drafting of policies, on insurance contract law, and on contentious insurance matters, primarily regarding cover and liability. During the last three decades he has developed a long-standing and active practice, representing numerous international and local insurance undertakings in consulting and litigation / arbitration cases. His further activity includes a noteworthy legal practice in mergers & acquisitions, privatizations, banking & finance, admiralty & maritime, Central and SE European law.

Has published over 160 articles and legal opinions in Greek and foreign Law Reviews, comments on court decisions, as well as a number of monographs and academic books mainly on insurance law and further on maritime and other commercial law subjects.
