The 4th Balkan Energy Leaders Annual Conference and Exhibition – hosted by Green World Conferences, London, UK – took place 17 to 18 March at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Belgrade. The aim of the event was to outline and examine opportunities and obstacles that wind, hydro, waste to energy, biomass and solar sectors are currently facing in the Balkans.
Rokas (Belgrade) actively participated in the two-day conference, represented by Belgrade attorney-at-law Mr. Vuk Stankovic who moderated the panel discussion entitled “Developing Renewables is the Balkans – Constant Headache or Bright long-term Prospects” and guided the developing and project financing discussion between Ms Maja Turkovic, Managing Director – Wind Power Co, Mr. Aleksandar Fragner, Director/Coordination Manager South Eastern Europe – REBINA Group, Mr. Aleksandar Savić, Head of Public Sector and Specialized Lending Department – Erste Bank Serbia, Mr. Costis Stambolis, Executive Director – IENE.
