Rokas Law Firm co-organises with ICC Hellas a one-day conference on Tuesday 5 March 2019, titled “20 years since Law 2735/1999 on international commercial arbitration: Present and Future of the Greek Arbitration Law”

Rokas Law Firm co-organises with ICC Hellas a one-day conference on Tuesday 5 March 2019 (from 14:30 to 21:00) at Electra Metropolis Hotel (Metropoleos 15, Athens) titled “20 years since Law 2735/1999 on international commercial arbitration: Present and Future of the Greek Arbitration Law”.

The conference will endeavour an assessment of the 20 years of application of the Law on international commercial arbitration, with which Greece adopted the UNCITRAL Model Law (1985) on international commercial arbitration, and will also consider the upcoming adaptation of the Greek Law to the 2006 revision of the UNCITRAL Model Law, as well as the required wider changes to the Greek arbitration law.

Distinguished specialists of the law and practice of international arbitration will participate as moderators and speakers. At the end of the conference, a round-table discussion will take place moderated by the former Prime-minister and President h.c. of the Administrative Supreme Court Mr. Panagiotis Pikrammenos.
